HONOURS
DIVISION 5 CHAMPIONS - DIVISION 2 CHAMPIONS 1994 - HAYWARD CUP 1999 - HAYWARD CUP 2000 - SENIOR CUP 2002

The club was created in 1948 and has always played their football at the Martin's Hill Lane ground in the village of Burton in Dorset, England (pictured above). Although a combined Burton and Sopley F.C. was a founder member of the Bournemouth Football League in the 1920's, the team disbanded during the war and was reformed as Burton F.C.

Chairman: Mike Rolls and Vice Chairman: June Sallis

The club runs 4 teams in the Bournemouth Hayward League, 2 on Saturdays in divisions 4 and 6 and 2 on Sundays in divisions 2 and 9. The football club continues to be part of the village with today's pavilion erected in 1969 with monies given by the late Katherine Chance. In the early days a post match wash took place alongside a standpipe and drain!

Burton Parish Council are supporting us in improvements & maintenance to the current ground & pavilion. This directive was given to the Parish Council when the ground was handed a 900 year lease by the owners Merrick Estates, at its inception.

The players and spectators have always enjoyed a post match gathering to discuss late tackles; great saves and goals. They do this at The Lamb Inn.
